Teacher gets charged for stealing.

In this article, they are saying that a former high school teacher in Southwest Ohio has been charged with stealing money meant for a school prom in cash-strapped district. The districts say a teacher on the Lakota East High School prom committee apparently urged students to pay her directly, instead of the following process. This forty-five-year old woman has been charged with a misdemeanor theft. She had failed to turn in the money but the office received a report that the woman sold tickets for the April prom but she had failed to turn in the money. The district says that eight hundred dollars were missing, and a relative had paid about one-hundred and sixty dollars of that. Some of the students have complained about having trouble getting admission into the dance. As the authorities investigated, the woman had quit her job.
